Bio
Born and raised in Austin Texas, I have been a member of the YMCA since I was three years old. Sports and fitness have always had a huge impact on my life. I participated in club volleyball for 7 years and I was lucky enough to get recruited to play here in Corpus Christi for our Lady Islanders at TAMUCC. I continued with my love of the gym and began my focus on power lifting and becoming a personal trainer. In the fall of 2016, I was in a car accident and suffered a broken back and internal laceration. As
fate would have it, the injury led me back to the YMCA. I began using the facility and pool to finish my rehab and fell in love.
I worked my way into every other YMCA Department, from summer camp to sports, personal training to group classes, I have been involved with it all and this YMCA has become my second home. In 2019, I was promoted to Membership and Wellness Director and have enjoyed being able to engage with members and truly listen to their personal goals and their reasons for being here and making us their Y. My goal is to spread the YMCA Mission and provide a welcoming space to become a stronger community together.
