I have been with the YMCA of the Coastal Bend for the past 8 years. My role began with Member
Services at the Front Desk opening the facility while attending Del Mar College as a full- time student.
When a position for YMCA Office Assistant opened in 2015, I took a leap of faith, decided to apply and
was offered the job. I thought at the time that the office assistant position would be the farthest I would
advance with the YMCA; however, in 2016 I was promoted to Business Office Manager which I have
proudly served as for the past 5 years.
I am the mother of two grown children whom I adore, regardless of their faults. I am also blessed with
the role of raising 2 grandchildren ages 8 and 13 with the tremendous help of the YMCA. I am hoping to
instill in them the spiritual mentality the Y has to offer. I love my job. I love the members. I love my
personal family and I love my Y family. Life is good.
